Constructionarium is a hands-on residential field course where second year (level 5) civil engineering students build scaled infrastructure (bridges, dams, wind turbines, underground stations, buildings) in partnership with industry - their future employers.

• Students are assessed in terms of budgetary control, quality and safety, teamworking and timely completion, and forms part of the Design & Construction Management module. It usually takes place in the last week before the Easter vacation in trimester 2.
• Constructionarium takes place at the National Construction College, which is part of the government funded Construction Industry Training Board, at Bircham Newton, King's Lynn, Norfolk, PE31 6RH. The college is a former RAF base and is able to provide accommodation, meals and welfare/recreation facilities.
