You will stay for a week on the island of Skokholm, the world's longest running bird observatory, and you will be there in the peak of the puffin season (late June) with approx. 10,000 pairs of them on the island. The University have booked almost all the visitor beds on the island so apart from the wonderfully enthusiastic and knowledgeable wardens and volunteers, our party will essentially have the island to ourselves for the week. The learning benefits will be natural history, wildlife conservation and wildlife photography. The trip will also teach you very valuable lessons about self-organisation, proactivity and forward planning.
