It is 100% leakproof with a polypropylene thread that screws securely on to the bottle. The cork makes it easy to grip the lid in order to tighten and unscrew. The stainless steel ring is ideal for easy carrying. The stainless steel cap on the underside of the lid ensures there is no plastic coming into contact with your water.
